Having issues with 6.1 CAD Lite

So chances are I'm doing something wrong, but I can't import 3D models into 6.1 CAD Lite. It only allows me to import .bip, .ksp, and .zpr. Along with that, it wont let me adjust the window resolution to higher than 832x576. It came with a student license of Solid Edge, if that's any clue to what's going on.

The lite version that is included with some CAD software will only open certain file types as you are seeing. The resolution sounds about right too. The lite version maxes out at around 800x600 (or aspect ratio equal to) for the real-time window.

So it's basically useless as I can't import a 3D model.

You import your 3D model through the software it is bundled with.
