Hi,

I am new here, just started to learn how to use keyshot for my furniture company.
Very recommended for rendering because it's quite easy to use and can produce very realistic rendering.

Here i want to share you guys my first render. Hope you guys like it and..of course your commend are very welcome.

Thank you!

Hi Delon. Great start ! First issue i see is that your images have a big amount of noise. This problem is often related to the samples value. I don't know what settings do you use, but try rendering in max samples mode. My personal preference is to set a very high value, like 1000 and let it render until it looks good for me and then i stop my render. Obviusly , you can try much lower values, like 100. Every scene needs different settings, so you can experiment with this adjustment. I'll leave a link to a video explaining this better than me :P

Hi sir, Thank you for your advice. by the way where i can find the sample value? in this scene i used Full simulation for the lighting preset (beside environment tabs). which is Raybounce: 24, Indirect bounce: 10 and shadow quality: 3. I cannot find the samples value..Can you guide me where i can find the sample value?

Oh by the way, our office is blocked the youtube channel so i can't play your video link..lol..i will check it at my home later.

Samples value can be tweaked in two different ways. In your render output window, within the options tab you can change from advanced control to max samples mode. You can set you max samples value for your render there. The other way is to change this value for materials individually. When you edit a material you should see a samples value as a slider.

Regarding your lighting preset, i think Full simulation is too much for such a simple scene. You are enabling things like caustics that you are not using and setting some values too high, increasing render time. Try the "product" preset with the max samples mode and see how it goes.

Ahh, i got it already.
Much thankss for your advice sir. I will keep improving, here's the result after i set my sample to 100.
