Lately I've been having a lot of problems using "Update" with the render plugin from Rhino.

When I'm working in Rhino and I click "Render", Keyshot launches just like it is supposed to do, and my model is imported perfectly. But more often than not these days, If I go back and work on my model in Rhino, then click "Update" it will come in either missing layers, or with layers turned off, but when I turn the layers on there is no data in them.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

Hi Robb!

I came here looking for an answer to a similar question...

I'm using Rhino 5 and the livelinking plugin to KS scene. In Rhino I have my model parts organized in layers to set up different combinations in KS and this works quiet good while the part manager in KS fits the layer manager in Rhino.

The issue comes when I move a sublayer from a layer to another in Rhino. When I update the KS scene, this sublayer/subgroup has dissappeared from the KS part manager.

So... did you find out something useful for this dissapearing problem?

Thanks!
