Keyshot VR, can it do this?

Just wondering if there is a way to set-up the Keyshot VR with "options"?
What I'd like to do is to have a radio buttons option for things such as:

doors closed / doors opened
Product colors (red, blue, green, tan, etc)
assembly (assemblied or exploded)

If this functionality doesn't exist, can Keyshot please add it to Keyshot in the next release?

Sure, all you would need to do is render out different VRs and then activate those in a web page. You would need develop the interaction though.

Does anyone have any examples of this kind of VR explosion they could share?

So, say that there are 3 optional straps for the watch, they would have to render all three VR's, all with different straps, then use some web authoring java magical trickery with some custom buttons or mind reading technique to switch between the 3 differently authored and linked VR's that would reside within that web page, correct? 2 of the three would always be hidden? and the buttons would call out which one to show? Wonder if one could always match the frame is on as to give the perception of a seamless switcharoo? That would be neat. The webpage might get really heavy though. Instead of loading one VR you are loading 3.

+1 I've also asked for ways of doing this previously but no signs of it so far.
I'd love to have buttons to switch to alternate configurations or even jump to a defined feature or view. I've seen great custom written VRs which have buttons for top, front, control panel etc as well as opening doors. Would love this to be built in to keyshot VR

In the meantime, If anyone has examples of writing code to control I'd love to see it

Click on the "Design Yours" button.  I don't even have a guess as to how they did this but the level of interactivity is really cool. And this is coming from a Playstation guy.  ;)

You can do this by using the outputs from KeyShot VR and then combining them in another program such as the GardenGnome programs - Object2VR or Pano2VR. This allows you to add the buttons, alternative states/colors, callouts/images and then publish the VR - which codes the page or output for you. can't remember exactly what all the outputs are that it supports.

Pano2VR would be for if you are inside something looking out - like inside a room looking around or outside looking around your environment.
Object2VR would be more like you're looking for where you have an object that you are revolving around

The price isn't all that bad either - relatively cheap.

That software seems cool.  And yes, I suppose you could do a simplified version of it using that but the XBOX thing (I would imagine) has to be generating those color changes dynamically. There are just too many variables and too many possible combinations for them to be pulling from a set of pre-rendered images. There's no way they could account for them all in advance. Not to mention the load time.

I remember trialing this software a couple years ago when I was looking at how to export these sort of things directly from Cinema 4D. Was NOT as user friendly back then! This looks great, I'll have to look into this as well.

Thanks for the reminder!

That is exactly what I wanted to achieve.  I'm sure something like this could be implemented into Keyshot VR and it would be awesome.
I'd even settle for something less complex to start with such as having buttons to switch to front/top etc just like the xbox link

I'll go and investigate the software link too, thanks for sharing. :)
