I first modeled (in SolidWorks) and rendered this collection of contemporary Southwest Native American style bracelets back in 2014, which I shared on the Forum.  I revisited it in KeyShot 6, and AS ALWAYS pulled an archival .ksp package.  This is a must for me as part of due diligence with clients.  That way all assets are retained.

So I renamed the .ksp and opened it in KS7 build 414.  I wanted to test how well KS7 handled legacy files.

The only changes I made were applying Accurate Metals (gold and silver), and rendering it out using the Jewelry option, baked for 30 minutes on 30 cores.

Top image is the new KS7.414 rendering.  The second image shows the comparison.

Although subtle, I think the image quality of KS7 is far superior, especially on the topaz.

Indeed. That topaz looks really good! It all does!
