Well, being a sucker for the new KS7 Metallic Paint, I chose to render this famous classic automobile, the 1948 Buick Streamliner concept, as my final entry in the competition.

The first image is color matched to the actual automobile, while the second is in Pearlescent White, my choice if I owned this car.  But with a value of over $5,000,000, that will have to wait until another lifetime!

Tweaked metallic paint, accurate chrome.  Custom HDR.

I think we would all agree that KeyShot brings out the best in us.  But, to be honest, we bring out the best in Luxion/KeyShot as well, as the amazing KeyShot team really listens, understands our needs and wants, and works very hard to be the very best.  My idea of an exceptional business model!

FYI: the Class A CAD model was created by my friend Brian Yingling, considered to be the world's premier automobile modeler.  His large scale models are a combination of 3D printing, and hand formed and hammered panels over 3D printed bucks.  His models range in the $30,000 range.  See more at http://www.buildparts.com/idea-center/cadillac.  You can see a few of my models at http://www.buildparts.com/idea-center/modelt and http://www.buildparts.com/idea-center/Miller91.  Mike Littrell, owner and CEO of C.ideas, is a good friend and our go-to guy for 3D printing.

And no, the Buick CAD model is not available.

Had to share a rear view of this amazing automobile.

Designed and built by noted Mechanical Engineer Norman E. Timbs, who designed many winning INDY 500 race cars.  She's powered by a big (and hot) "Buick Super 8", with a top speed of 120 mph. The entire body pivots up, just behind the cockpit, for access to the drive train. There are no doors.
