Guys, doing a first test on creating realistic glowing material for this filament or whatever you call it inside the glass there. How would you do it?
I threw a gradient on it, made it emissive. Don't know what I'm doing really. Do you guys use area light for the actual glowing material? Or something else? I added glow in the render window. Can something else be done in Keyshot? Or do you add it in post?

Here's my reference image and my render.

Please, any input is much appreciated.

I think I would use the area light material and then throw a good amount of glow to the image in photoshop.

This would be a great image to render out in 32 bit and see what that can do for you in terms of the dynamic range of the image.

Thanks Esben and Matt.
Changed it into an area light and added some outer glow in PS.
It would be cool if anyone did something more creative with the actual material itself. Is it possible to add an outer glow that you can control and tone?
