Problem: Material color is saved, but shows up black when painted on model??

Problem: Material color is saved, but shows up black when painted on model??

A model I have has a great color so I saved the material into my library.  The color shows up in the library correctly, but when I go to paint it on the other models it just messes up and look black??? 

I can send the .skp  or the .bip
