I have an assembly with some parts using a displacement material, other parts are using a procedural wood material. I've imported a different configuration of the assembly and am copying and pasting the procedural wood material as I have been doing prior to using the displacement material. With each paste Keyshot is recalculating the displacement for the unrelated material. I have a lot of wood to copy and paste which normally is very quick. This is very slow now.

This is a bug, correct? Or are all materials in a scene with a displacement reliant on the displacement material in some way requiring the recalculation?

I will try some work arounds and report back.

Ok, simple work around is to create a multi-material for the objects with a displacement material. Switch to a non displacement material when copying and pasting other materials.

This is a known issue and they are working on it. I have had this happen as well, along with some other users. Might be fixed in one of the next point releases.

Thats a good workaround though, thanks for sharing.
