External Files | Relative Path & Find Missing Files

1. It would be really useful to have a relative path option in KS for external data.

like

Code Select Expand

"..\textures\texture.png"
or

Code Select Expand

"scene:\textures\texture.png"

A "File -> External Data -> Make All Paths Relative" or "... -> Make All Paths Absolute" could handle the linking behavior.

Now moving or renaming a project folder brakes all links, if the external files move with the same folder.


2. Same menu could have a "Find Missing Files" option, where a search path can be chosen to make an algorithm search for missing files.

So apparently something like that is in the works.

This would be very useful. Then we would be able to manage whole groups of projects with whatever file structure makes sense nternally by having relative paths.
