Hello Orhun.

If changing the colors in the channels do not work properly, then a restart of KeyShot often helps.
An perhaps you can post your scene here, so we can take a look into it. Perhaps there are some issues with scene adjustments (scale) or environment settings (too bright maybe) or file source (mesh with inverted normals) or ....

To learn about the different material types and when to use, you can start applying the materials of the standard library that comes with the installation to your object and look into its settings. That helped me a lot as I started with KeyShot years ago. Specially the different plastic examples are very interesting; 'cause they're defined as plastic and plastic (transparent) and advanced or the translucent types or dielectric.

Hope that helps

Cheers

Hi Orhun-

Under the Properties for the Texture Map, click the "Upgrade To New Node" button, and it will work correctly.

Cheers,
Eric

Thanks for your solution it worked. Why this happens? What is the reason behind that?

You're welcome, Orhun. The Sorensen leather materials were created in an older version of KeyShot, and the parameters and behavior of Texture Map nodes has changed since then. Notice that it says "(Legacy)" on the node before updating; this indicates creation in versions of KS prior to v7.

Cheers,
Eric
