[RESOLVED] Report on floating license history (denials)?

Hi,

We are looking at how we can report on the floating license history to determine how often users are denied a license due exceeding the license limit. Is this information available in any log file? Event Viewer?

      Hello ddit

      You can check the debug log file and it will let you know what users have accessed the server and if they were able to check out a license or if they were denied the license.

      If you are using License Manager 1.0 you can follow the instructions below:

      • Go to C:/FlexLM
      • Launch the LMTools Application
      • Go to the Server Status Tab
      • Perform a status inquiry
      • Send us the debug.log file in the FlexLM folder

      If you are using the latest Luxion License Server then follow the instructions below:

      • Start the Luxion License Server
      • Go to the Install License Tab
      • Click License Folder
      • A folder will open
      • Send us the LUXION.log file Located in that folder

Great. Thanks! I have checked the logs and found the "denied" entries, so will review those.
