not sure, if this is a Pro feature only, but under the normal passes, there is the possibilty to tag "Camera Space Normals"
I thought it should be used like in this tutorial (starting at around 20:05 min), but this is just not working!
If I use the pass as a channel via an adjustment layer, it does not have any effect at all, in fact it seems like the pass doesn´t have any valid information.
when using the "Extractor" effect it also does not show any layers (i.e. alpha etc.)

so either I am doing something very wrong, or the purpose of this pass is something completly different ...

KS doesn't have a motion vector pass, so the workflow from the tutorial will not apply. But if you need an instand motion blur in post, check this out: https://revisionfx.com/products/rsmb/

hello Eugen,
sorry, didn´t check the forum for a few days...
this is the filter I use for motion blur as well, but I wanted to re-create the effect from the tutorial video...
so, do you know, waht the real purpose of the Camera Space Normals pass is ?
cheers

I know only one use case:
Baking high poly geometry into a normal texture to use it later on low poly meshes as a bump map. Like generate geometry with procedural displacement and bake it to save polygons.
