Region Render does not work on ground reflection when Tiff with transparency

I forgot to check the "ground reflections" check box before I rendered my turn table animation. So I thought I had come up with a clever work around. My solution was to use "region rendering". This time I checked the reflections box and I drew a box mostly around just my reflections. This way I could re-render the reflection and then composite these renders back on top of my previous renders in After Effects. I wanted to keep my background separate from my renders for added control so I selected to 32 bit tiff as my output. To my dismay the renders did not include the reflection. Kinda lame.  :'(

You may want to try using your original render (no reflections) and create the floor reflections in After Effects.

See these video tutorials for three different techniques:

The Red Giant Warp plug-in technique is described in the 2nd half of this tutorial:

There is a free After Effects reflection plug-in that I use and it works very well.

These techniques add some steps, but unlike the KeyShot floor reflections, you have control over the strength of the reflections (opacity), gamma, brightness, fall-off, blur and more.

So in the end, you may get a better match with your background and overall better result.
