KS both 2.1 and 3.2 are crash when importing

hey!

im running KS 2.1 on my macbook pro. since yesterday it crashes always when importing sketchup files, i ve tried SU 8/7/6...makes no difference, unable to open anything, i ve tried .3ds, might work but its unusable for me as SU messes up my textures, geometry etc when exporting to .3ds

to try anything new, i v installed the 3.2 demo version today --- all the same s..t happened again, independent from SU versions

what might be wrong??

The problem in KS 3.2 seemed to be that i had "umlauts", as we have them in german, were in my paths... eleminating them i can open my .skp stuff in KS 3.2

but the problem remains in my full version von KS 2.1; i "exploded" all sketchup groups by the way, didn t effect anything...
