Hi! This is a long time study that will hardly ever finish, but I've decided it has come to a stage to take a keyshot of it.

Looks great. The only comment I have is that it is a tiny bit dark.

zmitrij

Thanks for the comment Thomas! I agree with you, I liked that angle of environment very much and if increased the brigtness I was missing the effect I got here. I wonder will the new keyshot have extra lights to be positioned in the scene so we can combine the HDRI info with it? Now seems a lot of the final result is dependent of finding a good HDRI, so for example if the strong backlight is wanted the front suffers some darker areas.

3 things:

1. Try increasing the Gamma of the image. This may give you the brightness that you need.
2. The Pro version has the HDR editor which allow you to set addition lights.
3. KeyShot 4 has physical lights that can be used in addition to the HDRI. An area diffuse light made invisible to eye and shadows may work quite nicely.

Hi, May I know what kind of material are you using for human skin? Thanks

zmitrij

Hey, no problem. it's the human skin default material that I've setup. But I'm not sure whether it's the lighter or dark one, I am more clinging to the dark one, since I've renamed it. Here are my settings.
