I just realized I hadn't posted my camera bench results for KS4 on my 3930K machine yet...

I upgraded my CPU cooler (Corsair H100) to a Swiftech H220 kit with 2 high quality fans. This chopped off a good 10 degrees of my max. core temperatures at the same settings. I can now happily run KeyShot with my CPU at 4.6GHz all day long. CPU core/package temperatures never exceed 72 deg C. VCORE hits max. of 1.344V (CPU-Z) on any production workloads; typically = 1.328V.

It's amazing how low voltage you could set to get to 4.6GHz. I believe it is thanks to P8 workstation series motherboard.

On my Rampage IV Extreme, 4.6GHz won't even boot at 1.34v. I finally get 4.7GHz@1.45v. It is quite safe to get 1.45v for 3930K as long as you have enough cooling.

H220 should perform about 5-6c cooler than H100 in most cases and 5-6c cooler than H100i in extreme cases according to this:

Note that H100 failed 4.6G@1.45v test on 3960X, which overclocks better than 3930K.

Enough for overclocking, and let's talk about fps.

I tried several times and got this conclusion.
If you close HWmonitor, you should be able to get to 93.5fps from 92fps, and if you close both CPU-Z and HWmonitor, you can get 94.5fps. At least that was my case. CPUZ and HWmonitor have to constantly update information, and this process does consume CPU power, about 1-1.5% I guess.
