I have docking enabled and set my library and Project windows to docked. I do not have pro and therefore, no animation. When I open a new session of Keyshot, the top of my Library window is interfered with the animation window. The only way to be able to read teh top of the Library window is to disable docking and then close the animation window; enable docking again, and then pick dock windows. Kind of annoying as I have to do this every time I open Keyshot.

Also, text over the main window is funky (like it's been since the 3's versions).

Do you have an updated graphics driver?

Probably not an updated driver; but that would not explain why the animation window is open when I've never been able to open manually.

This just happened to me as well. Congrats, you get animation for free! It was working fine for a while (since the last update) and then all of a sudden this happened.
I don't get the garbled Pause text though, I think that's an unrelated issue.

I'm sure they'll address this with an update, as I said you and I (and anyone else this is happening to) are getting access to the animation feature for free. Being an honest person, I won't use it for any commercial work though. I may be able to convince my managers to buy it though once they see what it can do for marketing!

A few things to try to get the "Animation" timeline from being docked over the "Library" panel. Go to "View" -> "Enabled Docking", and disable the docking and enable again. After you have enabled the docking you can either drag the "Library" window to dock, or select "View" -> "Dock Windows". This should eliminate the "Animation" timeline from being docked.

Another thing to try is to click the 'X' that is shown in the right top corner of the docked window, this should close the "Animation" window.

This bug has been confirmed and resolved in the next update.
