this was supposed to be lipstick. Modeled in Maya ;)

Sorry, I don't follow??

Despot

Hmm, doesn't look like any lipstick I've ever used...

Oh dear, now I've let the cat out of the bag  ;)

On a more serious note... the geometry isn't too good, but the material looks promising, although it needs to be way glossier IMHO

I was making a joke on my modeling skills. I think as an art piece it's pretty good. No? They print really nice.

Reminds me of this I made a few years ago to play with learning Keyshot.

Looks good in a nice frame. Signed and numbered.

If it were me, I'd change the roughness or bumpmap or flakes just a tiny tiny bit on the B/W one, so they don't look 100% identical ... even art needs its little defects  ;)  Now it just looks like you used the exact same image twice, no ?

edwardo

Ha, funny. Actually, it looks pretty good framed - i like it! You need to mitre the corners of your frame though, and a nice boxframe(with 12mm spacer) would be nice, and maybe a thicker mount with an off white core

Years ago i worked in a picture framers and you would be amazed what looked good after being framed (not that im saying this image didn't look good before being framed.

This has given me and idea - the Keyshot virtual museum, with fly-through animations and such

This is true, but does work the other way round too.  A good frame can do miracles, but it can destroy the work as well.  We had a good framer in Brugge (BE).  You went in there with NO idea what you wanted, he looked at it and said: this and this and that and this way .. and we were like  :o ... real impressive  :D
