Hey guys,

I'm rendering this model, of which I can just show you are small crop (but it shows the issue quite clearly)

I have a model in a toned down HDRI environment. The interior in addition is lit by overhead illumination (diffuse illuminated material, 5500K, kicking out around 4000 lumen each) Under advanced I have set the samples to ~60, hoping this would help get a nice and smooth illumination.

The structure coming down in the centre of the crop is a (vertically) brushed stainless steel type, with a gloss of around 30. The glossy samples set it about 15.

The issues is that this noise on the material seems pretty persistent.

Does anyone know the best sort of settings for using the emissive materials? should I raise the samples of the lights, or change the stainless steel material? Some other shiny materials already look fine (I know they generally clear up quicker) but the diffuse materials seem to be lagging behind further than normal (as in HDRI only)

Any tips?
