Live linking - update selected part only

solidworks to keyshot. If I select a part, just update this one not everything, I'm tired of waiting around.
Also, why why why do all of the materials disappear after the update, sigh.

+1 on the localized update! 

Make sure you select "Retain Materials" in the import dialogue.  I find it best to update as a Drag-and-Drop or import icon rather than from the SW plugin.

I'm using SW2013 SP3 with the 2.6 plugin.  Oh, please consider adding an about menu item in the plugin so you can easily see which version is running!
