Import WIRE files directly

I'd like to be able to import Wire files directly maintaining the layers which are originally designated in Alias - much like what Hypermove does..

I find that when I export large IGES files from alias, many surfaces get blended (especially with the new beta importers) and that it takes forever (I'm on I7 extreme workstation, 16gb RAM, 64bit windows 7 etc etc.) It took over an hour to import an IGES file rough 0.6gb in size, then once it had imported many of the layers had merged despite being set up on different layers, grouped and with different materials in alias.

Would save me a lot of time in my daily workflow!
