As I said in one of my other posts I am learning how to model in blender and other programs of the sort.
I modeled this chain the other day and loved how it turned out. I rendered it in Blenders built in rendering and in Keyshots. So i'm wanting to share the Keyshot one with you guys.
Tell me what you think

Blender is pretty powerful software for being free. With that said this is a lovely render with great texturing. You're really learning fast.  8)

It's actually sad, the chain looks so real that it makes the table look fake.

I remember seeing a Blender tutorial for this about a year or so ago, it even teaches you the physics .... But you have still done well to follow it and get a result like this, well done FeherJr

the texturing on the chain is flawless. Really first class. I would dial down the table texture a bit - its drawing my eye away from the chain. Also, why not try putting it on a surface thats more in context with the chain, like a nice grubby slab of concrete, or some scratched up metal.

great model, great render. As your dad would say... its a keeper!

Maybe use a rusty diamond tread for the table?  I must say, you are giving us a run for the money!

Nicely done. Agree on the chain texture and the table. Concrete would look great.

Good stuff, jr. Keep them coming. I'm a Blender user as well. If you get bored, check out Versus and Holtoons (searching under Amazing shots) - all these were modeled in Blender too.
