Won't open in KS5 - will open in KS4 - what broke?

The damndest thing..
This particular assembly is not showing in the scene when I'm using KS v5. It's there, I think, and all the parts appear to be present in the scene tree but all I get is the orange outline.

If I open the very same scene in KS v4 all is well.

It's not the first time this has happened when a scene won't work in v5 but works OK in v4

I think something got broke between v4 and v5 and it makes me very uneasy - I'm keeping v4 installed for the foreseeable future.
In my opinion v4 is the safest, most stable version of Keyshot so far.

I'd be interested to know whether anybody else is experiencing these issues and whether Keyshot are aware and working on a fix.
C'mon, Keyshot admin - give me back my confidence in Keyshot..
