Hi all!!
Here is my latest model rendered with KS
It's a jewelry concept for a pendant, sculpted in Zbrush and 3DCoat

Nice modeling!  You might want to add an offset surface above the fire opal and apply glass or crystal to give it some real specularity and reflections.
