Amazing work!! I think you could do with re-rendering (a pass to comp in photoshop) with a much higher ray-bounce and perhaps a lot of small, sharp lights to bring out the gemstones - they look dark IMO.

I won't comment on the metaphor of a 'turtles head'. I'm off to the bathroom.
