1- first of all there should be export option for exporting the geometry in major 3d formats like obj and 3ds.
2- part selection option for geometry
3- copy and instance of selected mesh but with memory optimization.
4- CPU + GPU + Hybrid option to compute, support for new fermi GPUs
5- Accurate DOF and Motion Blur feature should be added for geometry and background image for automotive shots.
6- perfect UVW mapping with its gizmo should be added in keyshot for dirty environments and architectural scenes.
7- material, shader and texture painting feature would be advantage to keyshot.

I suppose GPU method like fermi has huge limitations such as caustics. Therefore KS uses CPU base rendering engine.

KeyShot is a rendering software, not a data translator.

2- part selection option for geometry

Not sure what you mean. It already exists.

In the works.

We will use the GPU for effects, but won't tie ourselves to special graphic cards. And the CPU + GPU hybrid computation is much more complex than some marketers make it sound.

DOF already exists.

It is a fine line ... our goal is to keep it simple. We have certainly talked about this. Adding this ads a lot of complexity.
