The 1948 Buick Streamliner, fresh to KS6, imported as an OBJ from the 3Dmax model by Brian Yingling.

Render samples default @ 64, but note the multiple ground shadows.

But overall, very smooth running, at 330 fps on my BOXX 32 cores.

All sliders seem very responsive, with no "sticking" as often happens in KS5.

Did you use interior mode for rendering?

Speedster

Product.  I'll try Interior.

Interior, Product, Basic and Full Simulation all produce multiple Ground Shadows.  Raising the samples from 64 to 256 smooth's it out, but remain as multiples.

What kind of lighting are you using? Is KS5 not giving you the same shadows?

Speedster

Well duh!  Multiple lights result in multiple shadows.  I learned that in high school, I think!  I used the Overhead Array 2h lighting.  But in comparing a fresh KS5 render, same setup, to the KS6, the 5 seems "softer".  But both are actually OK, and 6 may be more accurate, as I'm finding across the board.
