Hi all,

Just to let you know we finished our concept design for Elon Musk's Hyperloop. Many of the models are built with SketchUp and many of the scenes rendered in KeyShot. The line drawing overlay is done with SketchUp, then composited on a KeyShot rendering using the new camera match feature in the KeyShot SketchUp plugin (Thanks KeyShot team!). All of the rest of the line drawings in the book are rendered similarly, but just not with KeyShot as the plugin was only recently released. This book will be formally released tomorrow, so you all get a sneak preview tonight. I'll put the book link up  tomorrow when we go live.

Here's a sample:

Hyperloop Coach Cabin with underwater Tripscene display:

Terminal and Capsule Jukebox:

Business Work Capsule with ground based Tripscene:

Executive Meeting Capsule:

Coach Capsule with outer space Tripscene:

The project was a fun one...on and off for a couple months. SketchUp is just so fast at creating these sorts of models. Thanks to ALL the plugin authors-- couldn't have done it without you!!

Congrats Chipp! Looks like a great book. I'm sure Elon will enjoy it as well :)

Nice work man. Is your logo not the logo of the bad guys from Captain America? :D

Kudos!  Good job!

Something just caught my eye.  The use of screens (monitors?) as "windows" is brilliant. Sit back, relax, and "be anywhere"!
