This had me laughing. Out loud. Really. I've been sitting at the PC too long apparently.

to OP: I'd try using some photo reference and playing with the HDRI settings, dropping down those helmet highlights a bit, maybe tint the glass a bit to 'protect' the guy inside a bit. Good luck and nice work so far!
