Testing the new gem algorithm.
I think it works fine :)

I think it is my first serious try lighting a diamond ring. If some of you more experienced jewellery guys have any suggestions for improvement, please let me know.

Hi Guys.

For the interested:
If you want to explore in details how I created the rendering of the French Vintage Chair you can now go to http://esbenoxholm.dk/DIY/ and grab a copy of the .ksp, a layered photoshop file and the original rhino model. Have fun. I hope it is useful to some of you :)

Thanks Jeff. I used a demo version of http://www.marvelousdesigner.com/ to create it.

Great Esben,
i've tested Marvelous designer but my export is bad.
Also, how can you you push the curtain on the floor ?
In my test the curtain stay on the floor as a package
It will be great if you can do  little video for the "how do" the curtain
thanks a lot

Hi Finema.
I have to say it's a while since I did this and haven't used MD since, so I really don't remember much of my process.
I do remember tweaking things quite a bit before I got a nice export. Found a tutorial on youtube I think.
I also do remember importing a floor and a big box that the fabric could fall upon.

That's all I can help right now, sorry :/

Finema

thanks
have you save a MD file and send me ?

Sorry, no I haven't got it anymore.
I randomly came across this tutorial though, that, in step 7+8, explains shortly how to do create a folded curtain with MD.
It might be helpful: http://www.3dartistonline.com/news/2015/10/how-do-i-blend-photos-with-3d/
