Has the way 'DOF' works changed in version 6 beta?
I'm having no luck with it at all.
Scene is set to mm and I'm getting some bizarre results.
I don't remember it being a problem in v5, in fact I used it extensively - can't get it to work in v6 though.

Hi. Try adjusting the F-stop to something like 50 or more.
I've also experienced that I need way higher F-stop numbers than in KS5 to get something useful in KS6.

Let me know if it works.

Hi Esben,
Thanks for the suggestion.
I opened the scene/model and left the scene units undefined - applied DOF and it works as expected - though the F-stop value is quite low.
I changed the scene units to 'mm', matching the default units of my CAD system and it goes haywire. I upped to F-stop to 100 (it wouldn't let me go beyond 100) and it's not really controllable.
Following pics illustrate.

Keyshot 6 seems to have defaulted to metres if the model does not define units of measurement. So if you had a real 35mm DSLR the f-stop would be something like 3.4 to 4.6 or something similar, so using mm as scale you need to be using 34 or more as your f-stop if you're used to real cameras. This does not always work, but DOF goes from .0001 through 100, sadly you still sometimes need more, if this happens then just for render purposes set the unit to metres :)
