Beautiful model and a great start!  Overall, I think he's too "clean".  Needs dirt and grime.  Unfortunately, KeyShot does not yet offer a "smell" material!

Wonderful piece! I would suggest making him even more rugged! As previously mentioned give him some grit and dramatic lighting possibly with a fort or settlement behind him, or he's hunting! Tell us a story through his character!
