Thanks, Finema :)

All the atmospheric stuff is added in photoshop. Smoke, particles, glow, etc.
The cast shadow is created inside KeyShot using a ies light positioned right behind santa.

A new one from yesterday heavily inspired by the awesome miniature figure renderings by Magnus: https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=8713.150
Great model find by Nico: https://www.keyshot.com/forum/index.php?topic=12557.150

Cheers.

Well that's inspired me with an idea ... Will need to test my particle skills, but the idea is there if I can find the time. Thanks for sharing Esben

I like the contrast of the hard edges and what's in focus vs. the soft bokeh effect. Interesting, for sure!

Magnus Skogsfjord

Awesome stuff Esben. I am humbled that you find inspiration from my work:)

Thank you all!
Glad you like it (Sorry for the late reply).

Here's a bunch of test renderings of a binoculars model I've created in MODO for a KeyShot course that I'm currently working on.
If you are interested you can download the model here: https://gum.co/YNbv
... and learn more about the course (and get a launch discount  8) ) here: http://esbenoxholm.dk/keyshot-video-course/

Cheers.

Love everything, don't know how I missed the Rhino and skinny Santa... the Binoculars are immense, close-ups are divine :)

The one sitting on the Marble floor is absolutely great. That one's definitely my favourite.
