Hey guys!

I'm working on a procedural material to get the cut-out look you get from those bank note portraits.

This is what I have so far, (and a material graph screenshot as well). Any idea on improvements?

Thanks!

forgot to set the color composite to multiply:

It's getting better now! But if I keep working on it while at work, I'll get fired probably  :P

I'd say you're getting there. I assume it's a fairly slow material though given the various textures? But then again without the need for GI and specular reflections, maybe it isn't bad?

It´s quite a slow material actually! I managed to fixed it properly and now it works like a charm in any scenario. The one and only problem is that is not as flashy and cool as actual-physically-shaded materials, but it´s my own little nerdy achievement of the week, ;D
