I'm new to rendering, so this may be a daft question.  :o

When I render an image the maximum samples I can choose is 256, but currently on screen my image is at 851 samples and climbing.

Does this mean that if I screenshot this current image it will be superior to what KS can output? If so, could we have a screenshot option?

Hi!

Even if the max samples slider only takes you to 256, you can always type in a larger number :)

Thanks, Esben.

I can't believe I didn't realise that!

Also, you do have a screenshot button down on the toolbar :)
The shortcut to take a screenshot is the "P" key.

You can also choose between JPG & PNG and increase the quality setting in the preferences.
