Modelled in Fusion 360, so it could be 3D printed.

Render of the printing file - hence some splits down centerline - which I can fix.

Love the curvature procedural for 'roughing' it up!

Enjoy, Huw

Very cool!  Is this a model of a real thing, or is this an imaginative piece?

Hi Matt, Thanks.

It was modelled for a local air museum in Kansas, so I tried to be as accurate as possible - modelled mainly from technical drawings, with some references to photos etc. Its the aircraft version, so does not feature the barrel shroud.

The only main area I took some liberties on, was the mount (as the gun is mounted onto an aluminum bar,  supported by a 'tee' piece joint).

Therefore, the aircraft mounting part (with 'THOMAS' and '2017' is an approximation of the actual mount used. Its pretty close though...

The actual aircraft is shown here, with both the Lewis Gun and the engine (which I also modelled and 3D printed)

I'm guessing the actual gun didn't have a KeyShot logo embossed on it.  ;)
