Paste linked material to group

Hey guys....It would be nice and helpful to have a new feature --> Paste linked material to group by shortcut (e.g. SHIFT+ALT+RMB)

This enhancement would be very helpful if i apply a material to a model an copy / paste linked material in the realtime view.
The problem is that very often companies use coloured thread.
I always select the model in the realtime view and paste linked material to one level higher in the scene three but this is not very fast.

That's the reason i want a shortcut for paste linked material to group (one level higher) in the realtime view.

I hope this explains it a little bit better

Or make the LMB+SHIFT and RMB+SHIFT work in the scene tree. that would be totally awesome.

You can select the objects in the scene tree, and then go into the "inproject materials library" and drag and drop the desired material onto the selected objects. That will link them all together.
