newbie help with Keyshot 2.2.65 upgrade

I just installed keyshot 2.2.6 upgrade (KeyShot_mac64_2.2.65.dmg). It say the install was successful but when I click on the Keyshot 2 icon to launch the program it gives me a "could not initialize keyshot" error. This is a floating license but the installer never prompted me for a license key or anything. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes - you installed  the wrong version. You will need the floating installer. Please contact license@luxion.com for the proper links.
