Hello keyshot, I'm new to the software, It's absolutely amazing and i'm exploring its features.

I have this head model, color map applied + spec map, then I add a human skin material however I don't see the option to adjust specularity anywhere, it looks dry and lifeless, so any suggestions ? I'm using Keyshot 6.

The amount of specularity is controlled by the specularity color. Set it at completely white for maximum effect.
Try decreasing the roughness value as well. Might help depending on your settings.

Tried that but it didn't work, however refraction index seems to be doing it but leaves green shadows all over the place.

Is your Specular map too dark perhaps?

Are you familiar with the Material Graph in KeyShot?
You can run the texture through a Color Adjust node, in order to increase the brightness.

It is certainly possible to achieve the right amount of specularity with the Translucent material, as the work from e.g. Marco Di Lucca shows.
