High-res sculpt of a Nigerian Fulani woman created in Zbrush, Mari & rendered Keyshot.
The marks on most Fulani faces are tribal marks which help identify ones tribe as well as serve beautification purposes.
I felt blue eyes provided a sense of innocence in my model.
The Skin shader was developed from the ground up, with locally created diffuse maps (Photos of African american friends with shadow and specular information removed and applied to the model in Mari).
24k texture maps were applied as displacement in Zbrush because 90% of the detail would've been lost if converted to Bump map.
for the eyes, it consists of the Mensicus, Sclera & Iris. Modified Glass Shaders were applied.
Simple Plastic shaders were used for the hair as African hair has less sheen than default standard Hair shaders provided.
Render Passes were then composited in Photoshop.

Hope you all like it.

Wow! What material was used for the skin?
I applied a speculat map and diffuse map to the light skinshader. Dropped SS to the barest perceivable minimum. :D
