Moving render farm

So, IT has blessed us with our own dedicated rack mount server, rather than 4 VM's spread out across a couple different servers. My guy has said that he has copied all the install files across to the new unit and has given me full admin rights to the machine via Remote Desktop Connection.

Question is what is the best way to transfer the install? I didn't do the install on the first render farm on the Virtual Machines, so I'm going at this for my first time. Is it just a matter of running the installer and entering the serial number or is there a license file that needs to be planted somewhere?

Not totally sure of the hardware, but I can tell this from the Properties of the computer- Should fill out all 32 cores with hyperthreading of our Render license.
