Sometimes, and I haven't been able to narrow down exactly why it only happens sometimes, my Keyshot will open with the Project window taking up almost half the screen width. It will let me resize it larger but I can't make it any narrower. Only restarting Keyshot fixes it. Undocking the Project tab doesn't resolve it; the window is still stuck at the large width and can't be made narrower.

Anyone else have this happen?

Keyshot 7.2.135
Windows 7 64 bit

Were these scenes saved on a machine with a larger monitor, perhaps?

Try adjusting the resolution size under the Project>Image tab.

Adjusting the resolution doesn't 'unlock' the window size. They were saved on the same system they are being opened on.

Yep, I get this sometimes as well. I can't drag the render window and change the size at all even if I unlock the screen ratio checkbox. It seems to all go back to normal after I restart Keyshot.

I don't know about the reason, but what works for me is to drag the KeyShot Window just a bit holding the top bar and re-maximize it with a double click. Then the project window should be completely noticeable.

Hope that helps.
