I am looking to create a product animation to play as a hologram in a 3D Pyramid. Does anyone know what is needed from an animation standpoint for viewing this way.

At first I was thinking it needed to be animated similar to the 360VR that can be done in Keyshot (with the plugin)? After looking at some examples online, most seems to be a normal animation when viewed from the front, but do you animate the left, right, back views for viewing from those angles?
Most of the examples I've seen are spherical objects that conveniently don't change much as you view them from different angles (and maybe that's intentional?)

Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

How about this? It's just a "quick scratch".
The pyramid is devided with a shell (see in scene tree) with both applied a dielectric material.
The B&O Headphone can be downloaded from dimensiva.
The lost IES profile can be replaced with any default library light source.

I've added a camera animation.

Hope that helps to find the right track

Cheers

Reference image would really help @Rob ;)

I forgot the glow and the emissive material as label with opacity.
