How to avoid noisy renders in scenes with a heavy DOF?

Hi,
In the following scene there are 4 objects and a medium DOF setting. I used 600 samples for final rendering. The rendering process finished after 35 minutes.
I think KeyShot can't handle DOF scenes very well. It is also slow at those scenes which have DOF.
How can I solve this?
My system Specification is:
CPU: Intel Corei 7 4790K   4GHZ
Ram: 16 GB DDR3
GPU: ASUS RADEON R9   3GB GDDR5

I don't find that to be true at all. KeyShot's DoF is quite good. If you're not happy with the results thus far, give it more samples and/or more time. (test the area that's troubling you with the region render tool/heads up display first to determine how much more) When you add effects like DoF, yes, things are going to slow down a bit. It comes with the territory. If you give it more time, it'll be worth the wait.

What is the 'medium' DoF setting you are referring too?
If you're using advanced rendering mode you need to bump up the DoF quality settings and not the samples.

If you're using max samples you just need some more. It's not unusual that you need more than 600 samples for the DoF to become more smooth.
