Project potentially lost, cannot import.

I worked on a project yesterday, pretty large file. It looked great, even rendered it yesterday.
This morning i tried to import it to further tweak it. Every time i import it r open the keyshot file the whole screen appears black, and there are no models in the project tree.

Has anyone else experienced this, or maybe know what it could be?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
