Ryzen 7 2700x Vs threadripper 1900x

Hi guys,

Anyone got any FPS statistics on either of these?

I'm building a workstation and as far as I can see the 2700x is the better CPU but the 1900x can be upgraded to the more powerful threadrippers...

How poor is the 1900x Vs the 2700x? Is it worth taking the hit in CPU performance so I can upgrade later down the line?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Can't find a 1900X but it should be in between the 1800x and 2700X.

Cheers I actually eventually found this same page.

Ended up going for the ryzen 7 2700x with Aorus x470 ultra gaming motherboard and 16GB Corsair vengence lpx 3000mhz (2x8GB).

Getting 177fps on camera benchmark so pretty happy.

Very tempted to build the same machine. Did you overclock the Ryzen to get it to 177 FPS?
