White outlines around PNG

Does anyone know why with transparent PNG, some get this defect that when using it as a label a text get a white boarder around each letter.  It's exported from Illustrator.

Any ideas what we are doing wrong or is it just a bug?

I don't think I've ever had anything like this happen. Can you post an image of the results you are getting so we can see what you're referring to?

If you can would you be able to share an image of what you are getting? Also, you mention that you get the text file from making it in Illustrator and was looking to see if I could find anything. Would you be able to set the text blend mode to "Multiply" in the Transparency or Appearance Panel?

Let me know if that helps resolve the issue? Also, if not can you still post the image?
