The fade happens at once

I defined 3 Sec fade animation for a group of objects, but the the fade happens at once at the end of the 3 Sec and not gradually..

I have the same issue during the preview render. Could you find a solution for this issue?

The problem was in version 7, I upgraded to version 8.1 and the problem disappeared...
