Hello all,

I have an export from SolidWorks that is still showing considerable tesselation even at max settings (both via re-tessellate in KS as well as Image Quality via SW). So I imported using NURBS instead to mitigate this, but when NURBS are enabled via KeyShot, it automatically hides all non-NURBS geometry (some geometry came in via Maya as polygonal data and cannot be generated as NURBS, at least not without considerable effort).

I've never had this need before, so was surprised that you can only render one or the other. Is that actually true, or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

In your project view you can select parts in your scene and check the box 'always render as nurbs'. That way you can specify per part specifically what you need.
A better option might be to re-tesselate your nurbs parts, to increase the mesh density. That will probably give you faster render times.
